About Us
Management Committee Management Committee consists of two Co-operative members who are elected by the those who belong to the Co-operative to be responsible on their behalf regarding management decisions regarding the Centre. We’ve always had a dream of owning our own childcare in the future and we’ve been looking for a long time before we found these gorgeous childcare centers in the vibrant suburban areas in Pakenham as well as Moolap. Since then, we’ve invested a lot of time and effort to improve the atmosphere and creating places where families feel secure and safe to bring their kids to.
Our Educators
Twinklekids Early Learning Centre has created an atmosphere of positive work that displays a high level of respect and appreciation for the expertise and professionalism of teachers. The result is that children have access to the expertise of a highly skilled, skilled and motivated team of educators, which includes both part-time and full-time teachers, and with permanent staff that are assigned to cover planned as well as unplanned teacher absences (thus keeping the same standards for parents, teachers and children and minimizing the use of agencies).
Professional learning continues to be promoted and encouraged, which results in teacher qualifications that are far higher than those required by the National Quality Standards.
There is a spirit of professional respect, mutual understanding and numerous opportunities for educators to assume leadership positions. As an example in addition to the position of room leader, some educators have assumed the lead position of OH&S representative and sustainability leader, as well as representatives in professional forums, and facilitators for specific learning experiences.
Childcare Chef
The Centre has an in-house chef who designs and cooks food that is nutritious and healthy for children every day. In addition, the chef creates and displays the weekly menu. He is accountable for the purchase of all food products and collaborates with the Director of the Centre to ensure that the highest standards of food safety are always maintained. The Chef is recognized as part of the centre’s education team and, working in conjunction with other members of the team makes sure that children are given plenty of opportunities to get engaged in the process of the menu, shopping and food preparation.

At Twinklekids Early Learning Centre, our program is personalised and based on the child’s preferences and their individual stages of development. We believe that every child and family is special and we work as a team. In our weekly activities, we enjoy gathering input from parents and sharing it together with our children. We utilize Storypark, which allows us to use an online portal used to keep track of each child’s individual or group observations. It’s also a great way to communicate between educators and parents. Our environment is made up of a range of natural resources. We have large play areas both outdoors and indoors, we provide both outdoor and indoor programs that are available all daytime.
We also offer excursions and incursions weekly through our service. The children in the kinder age group will participate in each week a bush kinder class in which they venture out into the community to explore the natural surroundings. We also provide lessons for swimming at a local swimming center which the children can travel on the centre bus and take lessons for up to five children in a group.
